Separated from the Tetsudo Denki Kogyo Co., Ltd. (now the Nippon Densetsu Kogyo Co., Ltd.) Kawashima Factory, located in Shimodate City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and began operations primarily as a manufacturer and seller of concrete troughs for protecting underground cables.
